On Monday September 17, 2012 the Notasulga Town Council honored
Retired Chief of Police JW Tapley. Chief Tapley retired in 2011 after 35 years
in law enforcement, 14 of them with the Notasulga Police Department. The town
presented Chief Tapley with a letter of gratitude and a retired chief badge.
